As I have discussed in my response to your earlier post, an important issue remains as to how critical aberrant gamma-secretase really is in contributing to Alzheimer development in human, given that most of the causality tests were performed in rodents. There are many cases of drugs developed based on rodent models that failed to treat human diseases that are seemingly caused by the same faulty genes. There is no doubt in my mind that Yi-Gong Shi’s work is Nobel-prize worthy (especially the ones on RNA splicing that were just published) and will shed light on the normal biological function of gamma-secretase in neurons – an important problem in its own right, however, I am somewhat doubtful that solving the structure of gamma-secretase or having the ability to “Cripser” it will have significant impact on disease treatment. But again, this is just my view.
I don't think the treatment to Alzheimer's will come in the form of gene therapy, either. If you read my previous article carefully, you should notice that I expect it to come as new drugs that interrupt the chain leading to full-blown Alzheimer's. Hope you agree.

I correct my previous comment...Experts should feel free to discuss whatever here with Mr wang,,,Ignorent reader like myelf should just choose to read easier to understand articles in other areas...
Don't worry. Writing articles like these is quite exhausting for me too. I don't think I will be doing it again anytime soon.
I wonder if you have any comment on the recent Taipei MRT card (yo-you card?) incident/scandal? ( used Japanese AV woman as The Face) In my view it shows how the city govt's imcompetence and negligence which has created such disgrace and caused such embarassment for all Taiwanese internationally...It's a shameless and arrogent decision to insult most people in /from Taipei...I am speechless...sorry i know this is not relevant to this article but I can't hlep it...
Maybe the article 《愚民主政下的指鹿為馬》 would be a better place? At least it was about Taiwan.
I don't really care much about this kind of idiocy since it has nothing to do with living standard. The priority list I recommended for the presidential candidate is also what I observe myself.
